This collective showcase delves into the essence of identity in its many forms. Through portraiture, abstract expression, and conceptual exploration, artists explore the enduring question: What shapes our identity?
From vivid character portrayals to the intangible forces that influence collective memory, the theme celebrates diverse interpretations of identity, bridging the personal and the universal.
Set within the historic vaults of the National Gallery near Trafalgar Square, Maison Pan’s London location offers a unique connection between past and present. With 200 years of exhibitions taking place in this iconic venue, Maison Pan and Artiq bring together a new generation of artists in a truly remarkable setting.
"This Home of Ours" Photo Book Launch
The photo book launch of my series, “This Home of Ours” was last week and I couldn’t be more proud of how it all came together.
There are so many people to give thanks for without whom this wouldn’t of been possible. First and foremost to the Bo Kaap community, my first home, for entrusting me with this story. To Snap Collective Publishing for bringing the physical book to life, and to my incredibly talented friend Carlos Hernandez for the thoughtful layout design.
A huge thank you to Shoreditch Arts Club for allowing me to host this event in their beautiful venue. To the entire sondr team for the thoughtful curation and overall support. To Dhey Artopé, Rinna-Kai, and Lauren A-Brown for documenting the night and to Lotanna for curating the vibes. Special thanks to my Converse All Stars family for completing the fit.
And last but not least to everyone who showed up. Grateful for all of you who continue to support me on this journey. Until the next one.

Maya Njie for Studio Playground
Back in June, I had the pleasure of photographing Swedish-Gambian perfumer, Maya Njie for Creative Studio Playground Issue 2.
A self-taught artisan, Njie's practice was developed through experimentation; the blending of raw materials with a variety of essential oils, aroma compounds and resins; and nature and science combining into autobiographical fragrances.
